COLT MODEL 1917 REVOLVER, .45 ACP — SERIAL NUMBER 45889 (marked on bottom of grip) / 193729 (on the frame and cylinder crane arm)
This revolver has been refinished with a zinc phosphate Du-Lite finish. The bore is in poor condition. Please note that the double and single-action are mostly functional, however the cylinder does not always rotate smoothly and this revolver will need some work before it is 10% functional. Please note the firing pin is a handmade replacement and will need to be replaced.
The metal has a parkerized finish and has some pitting, as seen in the photos above. Please review all markings carefully in the provided photos.
A desirable addition to any collection, this historic revolver is available in limited quantities—don’t miss your chance to own a piece of U.S. military history.
C&R or FFL required for purchase.
