Description

P14 Enfield Rifle British .303 Caliber

We are proud to present our newest shipment of P14 Enfield rifles chambered in .303 British. These rifles are in beautiful original condition and are 100% functional. These rifles are generally in good condition. These rifles came directly from Ethiopia after being in storage for many decades. They may have a small crack in the stock or upper handguard. The metal parts are in good condition, although there may be some surface corrosion or minor pitting. The volley sights are mostly intact, but some may be missing small parts such as the dial sight front bead. Bores range from poor to good. These rifles will clean up very well and turn out to be great pieces for your collection. The Enfield P14 rifles saw use in World War I, World War II, and many other subsequent conflicts. Some rifles also have Arabic marked stock coins, indicating a possible use with the Iraqi Army. This is an incredibly rare chance to get ahold of a beautiful piece of history!

We have two manufacturers available; Eddystone and Remington.

A Brief History of the Enfield P14:

Before World War I, the British had the Short Magazine Lee–Enfield (SMLE) as their main rifle. Compared to the German Mausers or U.S. 1903 Springfield, the SMLE’s .303 rimmed cartridge, originally a black powder cartridge, was ill-suited for feeding in magazine or belt-fed weapons and the SMLE was thought to be less accurate than its competition at longer ranges. The long-range accuracy of the German 7×57mm Mauser Model 1895 in the hands of Boer marksmen during the Boer War (1899-1902) made a big impression on the British Army, and a more powerful, modern rifle was desired. Thus, even though improved Lee–Enfield variants (the SMLE) and .303 British Mark VII ammunition with pointed (spitzer) projectiles entered service after the Boer War in 1910, a committee was formed to develop an entirely new design of rifle and cartridge. The starting point was to copy many of the features of the Mauser system. The rifle was developed at the Royal Small Arms Factory at Enfield (arsenal) in the United Kingdom.

I wanted to p 14 for my collection, The one I received from Royal Tiger imports did not disappoint it came complete functionable with even the volley sites in tact. Even the barrel had more rifling than I was expecting very happy to have this one in the collection thanks royal tiger

I collect P14s and wanted to write an honest review after ordering 3 to test out what to expect. Bore and rifling were way better than I expected and will make good shooters like the first review. Like described, all the front volley sights were missing the bead and one even broken. All of them except for one were missing sling or stacking points from the looks of it broken off. Exposed metal finish is mostly gone if little left. So far not too bad, except for the worst part is the wood. All had cracking problems with one even having a completely split front hand guard, big crack on the side of magazine as well as tang crack. Know the description says small cracks and the other two weren’t much better, but way more than I was expecting on all. Overall mixed feelings, but personally feel like the price is too much for the condition. Could be I just got the worst 3 with wood but hope this helps.

FANTASTIC! Truly a beatiful gun. If I had the money, I’d buy all that they have. Absolutely another perfect purchase from RTI! Keep them coming.

I received a nice Remington made p14. A little blueing left, wood is in good condition! Rifling is strong! Only problem is a broken ejector spring (easily fixed) overall I’m very happy with my purchase!
