Original British BREN MK1 Parts Kits with original barrel in cal .303 British available now. These parts kits came out from Ethiopia with our most recent shipment. The kits are in fair to good condition. Each kit comes with 1 .303 original barrel. These original barrels were imported prior to the barrel importation ban over 20 years ago. The metal condition is generally fair to good with some surface wear and some pitting in some small spots. The wood condition is generally fair, but may have some cracks and/or large chunks missing from the buttstock, carry handle and pistol grip. The pistol grip may be missing, Hand select kits come with pistol grip and barrel carry handle. Most receivers have a single dovetail for the rear sight, not the double dovetail. We offer a hand select fee on these kits for overall condition and bore condition on the barrel. Torch cut receiver sections are included. Some kits may come with a MKII or MKIII lower receiver.
These kits include 1 ZB39 magazine. These magazines are ideal for .308 conversions. We are out of stock of BREN .303 Magazines.

I received a bren mk1 modified. Condition was quite good. Hardly any rust. The barrel I received was an bren mk1 unmodified barrel; it was heavily coated in cosmoline. It had a front sight protector broken off. The bolt/ piston was in excellent shape. My lower was missing it’s wood grip. The shoulder stop of the stock was bent. Overall I’m happy, it’s a 1941 inglis bren. The receiver cuts were decent. Should make a great candidate for a semi auto conversion. I’m quite happy with it.

I’m very happy with the kit I received the wood was in good shape with a few dings and no cracks and the only thing that was missing was the bipod. I contacted Royal Tiger customer service and they were able to send me a bipod out and I’m very happy with their customer service. It’s a good kit with nice clean cuts. Perhaps I’ll buy another and the chance I get a double dovetail kit
