We now have Ethiopian carbine conversion French Berthier rifles in stock!
These Model 1907/15 cut down rifles arrived from Africa and are in 100% functional and working order. These particular rifles were converted into carbines by the Ethiopian armed forces. Condition ranges from fair to good. Many of the stocks have cracks, dings, dents, etc. and may need repair in some areas. Metal may have minor pitting and/or may be missing small parts such as sling swivels, stacking rods, etc. The barrels are generally cut down about 4-8 inches, but lengths vary. They are chambered for the French 8mm Lebel cartridge and use a 3 round en-bloc clip (not included). These rifles were originally issued by the French military as one of their main rifles for standard infantry use throughout the First World War and many saw action later during WWII, the Spanish Civil War, and more.
These 1907/15 Berthiers are classified as C&R rifles. C&R rifles need to ship to an FFL (Gun Shop, etc.) or C&R license address. Please email any C&R or FFL licenses to ffl@rtifirearms.com.
