Mauser 98 – Serial Number 42204
This carbine was likely originally an FN 1924 carbine; however, the original markings have been scrubbed and new handmade markings were later applied. The carbine features a poor bore and a non-matching bolt. It has been completely disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled, and is functional.
The finish is in good condition. The handmade stock is also in good condition, showing typical handling wear, dings, and scratches consistent with use.
