MLE M16 FRENCH BERTHIER CARBINE, 1938 MANUFACTURED, SERIAL NUMBER 12933

We have for sale one French MLE M16 Berthier Carbine  serial number :12933

Chambered in 8mm Lebel. It was manufactured in 1938 and is classified as a C&R firearm.

The finish on this carbine is original, but the markings are not visible. The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling. The wood is in good condition and shows handling wear, dings, and scratches consistent with typical use.

Please note the following:

• The front barrel band is missing.
• The magazine cover spring is missing.
• The bolt serial number does not match.
