Gewehr 98, Serial Number 1761D

Manufactured by Waffenfabrik Mauser A.G. Oberndorf in 1918, this Gewehr 98 is a genuine World War I-era rifle and a desirable addition to any military firearms collection.

The bore is in fair condition; however, please note that it shows wear at the muzzle. The bolt is non-matching. Please note that the rifle has Turkish markings above the receiver crest.

This rifle has been completely disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, and test-fired. It is 100% functional.

The metal finish is in good condition . Please note that there is some pitting on the receiver and barrel. The wood stock is in good condition but has a crack near the buttplate, along with handling wear, dings, and scratches consistent with age and military service.
