We have a small quantity of Czech Mauser rifles which have finish wear, and/or cracked stocks. The rifle will be complete except the bolt. The stocks are usually cracked at the wrist, some delamination of the wood and/or have a few chunks of wood missing and often can be repaired with some work. The stock type may vary. Some stocks are from Ethiopian Contract rifles, others are from WWII German guns, etc. These rifles have most of the parts except the bolt. These rifles DO NOT INCLUDE the bolt. The rifles arrived from Ethiopia with no bolts. These rifles will have finish wear and may have light pitting, surface corrosion, etc. Bore condition varies from poor to good. May be missing the stock coin. Please note the rifle receivers from this batch may be marked DOT 45, DOU 45, SWP 45, possibly an overhauled VZ24 receiver, or a slightly different code used during the Czech rifle contract for Ethiopia such as DOT 1944. Once these rifles have parts replaced and the rifle is inspected by a qualified gunsmith, you can have a great Mauser rifle for a discounted price!
These rifles are in B Grade condition and may not be 100% functional until parts are fixed/ replaced. No returns, refunds, or exchanges.
Replacement Mauser parts are readily available at Sarco Inc or Gun Parts Corp.

A Brief History of these rifles:
Czech made K.98 K last war production with large winter trigger. These rifles were manufactured on German equipment in Czechoslovakia, at BRNO and the Banská Bystrica plant. The codes are often dot 45, swp 45 and dou 45.
The rifles were made for export to Ethiopia for the emperor Haile Selassie . The rifles are identical to the German made K.98K but instead of the NAZI eagle the rifles have the Czech lion stamped on the receiver and barrel.
The firearms have the “St. George” coin embedded in the stock as a symbol for Ethiopia. These guns were not known to exist. They are nowhere found in any literature.
The condition is fair to good. All rifles feature the large winter trigger magazine, a laminated stock and the late war stamped bands.
These guns have been in Africa for 75 years and are in 100% original condition. Again these guns were not known to exist and are extremely rare. We only have a small quantity of these rifles available.
This is a must for every collector.

2 reviews for B Grade 1945 ETHIOPIA CONTRACT CZECH K98, complete without bolt

I decided to get this as a project gun while also wanting a K.98. From what I can tell, there are no missing parts. The stock is a bit beat up, and the crack is where it was said to be (nothing too crazy, though)
The only real issue is a casing stuck in the chamber buth otherwise is in pretty decent shape

Exactly as described, but I received one with a really good + bore. No missing parts. The stock was basically trash, but it did have the medallion, which isn’t guaranteed. Well wworth the price. RTI hasn’t done me wrong.
