Description

Act now before the 1891 Carcano Cavalry Carbine sale is over!

We have a small batch of Model 1891 Carcano cavalry carbines in B Grade Condition. These carbines have been stored with the Italian armed forces for decades and we just imported them from Europe. The carbines are in fair to good condition and may have some cracks, or a cracked stock, dings, dents, scratches, minor pieces of wood might be missing, etc. The carbines will have handling wear as most of them are at least 80-100 years old. The upper handguard may be cracked or missing (we offer new production handguards for sale here). Upper handguard may be slightly loose fitting. Carbines come with bayonet. May be missing a small part such as a rear sight spring or buttplate trapdoor. May have some surface rust in some areas such as near the rear sight, receiver, trigger guard, etc, but overall it will clean up nicely. This is a fantastic find which will not last long. Rifles are in smooth working condition. Requires en-bloc clips which are available on our website. Does not include clip.

Please note that the photo is the representation of A grade condition and may vary from what you will actual receive.

C&R or FFL required!

Bought two of these from the Italian caches a couple years ago. Both came out great, although one had a bilaterially chipped stock near where the narrowing of the stock meets the trigger guard receiver area. The chipped off wood looked fresh, so I it’s possible it could just be rough handling by postal services during shipping. The chipped wood was relatively minor and did not affect functionality at all. One of them came without a bayonet, and the other came with a rusty replacement bayonet, but it came free after some quick cleaning. Both had intact rear sights, but the elevation buttons were stuck on them (of which only one I was able to clean out and make work again). Overall though, definitely for the price that they’re going for at the moment, I would highly recommend these Italian-sourced Carcanos as an affordable gateway into milsurp collecting.

I ordered a b grade calvary carbine and that was exactly what I got. I am very pleased with my purchase. It had some mold under the bayonet and a chunk of wood missing near the reciever. The bolt was stiff but after oiling it it worked well bore was good with nice rifling. I cleaned it up and it looks really nice. 1936 tuni sp? Missing the upper hand guard but was told it could be. Really neat switch operated bayonet that worked really well. Thank you royal tiger for this chance to get one of these for less than a 150 dollars. Shipping was quick took less than a week. Very satisfied thank you.

Purchased 2 so far, both had shiny great bores, a .264 size bullet only makes it in about a quarter of an inch in the muzzle test.

First one was a 1935 FNA Brescia with very minimal rusting/pitting 70% blueing, stock has some missing chunks around the bolt and under the bayonet and some small cracks in the toes of stock.

Secone was a 1937 Terni with very strong bluing on action/barrel, trigger gaurd was pretty heavely rusted, and stock has a huge split starting from the muzzle end down middle of bayonet cutout.

All the cracks and splits were easy repaired with wood glue and clamps, both turned out nice after stripping/sanding and finishing with boiled linseed oil.
