We have for sale 1 1930 FN Mauser Carbine, Serial Number 2066. This rifle is not numbers matching. The rifle was manufactured by Fab. Nat. D`Armes de Guerre. This carbine was likely manufactured in 1949 for the Algemeene Politie (General Police) for the Dutch East Indies. The contract that this carbine was produced for was likely canceled once Indonesia gained an independence. This information comes from page 364 of “FN Mauser Rifles Arming Belgium and the World”. Somehow later on this carbine made it to Ethiopia. The bore on this particular carbine is in good condition but needs some cleaning. The finish on this rifle is in good condition. The wood is in good condition and has some handling wear, dings and scratches from typical use. Please note that there are two small cracks on the upper handguard above the barrel.
