The Yugo M48 Mauser 8mm Rifle

The Yugo M48 Mauser 8mm rifle was made after WW2 by Zastava Arms in Yugoslavia. The condition on these rifles is generally fair. Out of this batch you may receive a Yugo M48, M48A  or M48BO without the crest for export model. Rifles may have cracks in the upper hand guard and cracks in the stock. The stocks will have dings, dents, scratches, and heavy wear. May have Ethiopian modifications such as a bottom mounted sling swivel, front barrel band modification, etc. May have pitting and surface rust. Bores range from poor to fair. May have small broken or missing parts such as: extractor, front sight, safety lever, etc. These rifles come straight out of Ethiopia. They were delivered with other defense products in the 1950’s and 60’s to Ethiopia. The Yugo M48 Mauser 8mm rifles require a C&R or FFL to purchase.

Please note the rifles remaining are in fair condition, feature the same markings, and 100% functional, however, they are more used and in “turn in” condition. Also they do not come with a sight hood nor cleaning rod. Sight hood and cleaning rod can be purchased separately.
