This beautiful Gewehr 98 was manufactured by Simson & Co., Suhl in 1916 and features a Judaic Lion marking. Receiver markings remain visible. There are very light spots of pitting on the receiver near the wood line.

Condition: The bore is in poor condition and there is a bulged section of the barrel just behind the front sight. Otherwise the rifle is functional. The stock is in fair condition with handling wear, dings, and scratches consistent with typical use; several cracks are present in the buttstock (see photos).
