Enfield No5 MK1 “Jungle Carbines” in C Grade Condition Now Available!

We have a small batch of Jungle Carbines available. These carbines are in poor to fair condition. Bores range from poor to fair.

These rifles pass the basic function test of the bolt. The carbines may have cracks in the stock at the wrist and/or forearm etc., may have missing handguard, may be missing the rubber butt pad and safety, may have minor corrosion. Comes with working bolt. The finish is worn on the remaining rifles we have, usually about 10-50% of the blueing is left. One of the sling swivels might be missing, rubber butt pad will also be worn due to it’s age and use. May have a crack in the front sight ear. These are the very last of what we have left! These rifles are great candidates for restoration or can be used as is. Don’t miss this chance to get a Jungle Carbine!

Please note: the rifle shown above is in very good condition, the C grade rifles are in poor to fair condition.

NO MAGAZINE INCLUDED!

This Carbine is extremely rare – only a limited supply left!

Received today, all in all pretty good. Missing parts are handguard and barrel band, safety mechanism, and oddly the firing pin set screw. wood in better shape than I would have thought. Barrel has some rifling. Bolt seemed to clean up well and is very smooth. No magazine, which I was not sure about, but the picture has a magazine and the description doesn’t say anything about it, so a little bummed on that, but not unexpected.

As it arrived I believe it would be shootable. To replace parts looks like it will be about $110 with the set screw a few bucks, the handguard about 60, with the barrel band/swivel/screw ~30, and the safety about 20.

I did this and a No1 Mk3 of the C grade with missing parts, and troubleshooting and replacing the parts is a lot of fun.

My no5 jungle carbine took about a week to ship and came to all intact! There was a cracker in top hand guard and it was super dirty but all of this was described and expected. The bore I’d say is fair with visible rifling. I’m super happy with it and it’s cleaning up well so far! I’ve seen reviews talking about how bad RTI customer service is but I’m telling you it’s not like that now! I’ve talked to the ladies there twice and they are super nice and more than willing to help. RTIs rifles are meant to be fixed uppers not super great shape when you get them. Do the work, replace a few parts and you’ll love the reward! This is my 2nd rifle with a 3rd on the way and both so far have fair bores once cleaned up. I’ll definitely buy from RTI again!!
