M.95 Steyr Mannlicher Rifle Cal. 8x50R – Now Includes 1 Free Surplus Steyr M95 Clip!
FFL or C&R only, no antiques available.
The M.95 rifles are in good condition. The bolts will be complete and functional. All are original and use the 8x50R ammunition. May have some very small wood cracks in stock or handguard but stocks are generally in good shape. Stock will have handling wear, small dents, dings, etc as most are over 100 years old and have had an extensive service life. Most are WWI dated. These rifles are complete and functional compared to the B grades which are incomplete. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get the Austrian/Hungarian WW1 Infantry rifle. Rifles include the rear sight slider unlike B grade!
These guns come straight out of Ethiopia and are in good condition. We do have Budapest and Steyr arsenals available. A specific manufacturer can be chosen by the customer. If there is no preference, the option does not have to be selected and a rifle will be picked for the standard price.
The stocks might have some minor dents or very small cracks. These guns are true authentic pieces of history and should not be missing in any WW1 and Austro-Hungarian firearms collection. Bores range from poor to good. Please remember that these guns are 130 years old and back then there were no “non Corrosive” primers available, however we will pick the best out of what is available at the time. Thank you for your understanding.

I had ordered this rifle nearly a month ago. Processing time took a few weeks which was understandable and the shipping time was impeccable. Just picked it up today and could not be happier. I understood these rifles were sitting in warehouses and would have had some dirt here or there, but when it arrived, I was thoroughly impressed. Not only was the stock cleaner than expected but I paid extra for the styer mark and received it with every ounce of metal looking shiny and almost brand new. This rifle has found a very special spot in my collection and I am more than pleased with my order. Thank you RTI and for anyone wanting to buy one, I recommend it.

Picked up the rifle yesterday and I am very happy with the quality. I haven’t taken it apart but it is much cleaner than I expected a 100 year old rifle to be. I really want to thank the guys at RTI for finding these historical items and saving them.

Paid extra for nicer condition. Stock looked nice but was over sanded liked most of them. Forend stock piece was much less sanded and was nicer than most scene. rear sight was complete which I had not scene in the B grade or M-95’s with out better grade selection. Bolt function was smooth and held it’s self open when released. Which is a sign of a bolt that is not worn out. Rifling was a 1/8th on an inch on the bullet exposer test. Where you take a cartridge and stick the bullet tip into the front end of the barrel and measure how much of the bullet is showing between the mouth of the barrel and brass case. If it goes all the way in, that’s a measure of zero and means the barrel would key-hole bullets when fired. 5/16″ is a new barrel, 1/4″ broken in barrel. Less then that is a worn barrel. Zero is a failure and the barrel should be replaced. So an 1/8″ should shoot straight, but I haven’t shot it yet. The carbines seem to have better rifling than the Rifles. Not sure why.
