TGF 1950 Czech K.98 Mauser, Serial Number 04578. This is a very rare East German border guard carbine.

This rifle has non-matching serial numbers and features a good bore, though it may require some light additional cleaning. It has been completely disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, and test-fired. The rifle is 100% functional.

The metal finish is in very good condition, and the wood stock is also in good condition, showing typical handling wear, dings, and scratches consistent with use. Please note there is a crack/delamination behind the receiver at the wrist. The trigger guard, magazine floorplate, and buttplate are unnumbered.
