Antique Waffenfabrik Steyr Manufactured MLE 1874 Gras Rifle, Caliber 11x59mm Gras, Serial Number A21457.

This rifle is in good condition, with a good to very good bore. The rifle features a non matching serial number bolt. Both barrel bands are matching numbers to the receiver. The receiver is cracked at the front left near the chamber! The crack is about 3/4″ in front of the receiver markings on the left side. The stock has a section of wood missing on the underside near where the cleaning rod hole goes through the stock. Steyr manufactured MLE 1874 rifles are very rare in the batch out of Africa compared to the French manufactured examples.
