We have for sale 1 French St. Etienne MLE 1866-74 Cavalry carbine chambered in 11mm Gras, Serial Number 2288. The rifle is in good condition and is 100% functional. The bore is in fair condition, however there is a slight bulge in the barrel near the front barrel band. The rifle is not matching numbers. The stock on this rifle appears to be Ethiopian made replacement along with the addition of a custom made upper handguard.  All markings and serial numbers are clear. The stock is in good condition with some wear and scratches. Please see detailed photos above.
