We have for sale a vintage Czechoslovakian BRNO Fox  Sporting rifle chambered in .222 Remington. This rifle came out of Ethiopia with the other Mausers we imported. This rifle was manufactured in Czechoslovakia in 1972. The markings on this rifle appear to indicate that it was proof tested in 1972 according to the barrel stamp. The metal parts have good blueing. The bore on this particular rifle is in a very good condition with strong rifling but lease note that there is a very slight bulge or pitting in the barrel, approximately 1 inch from the muzzle and there is some pitting on the barrel. The wood is in good shape but has the typical scratches and small dings from usage.
